Full Job Description
The Senior Associate, IT Strategic Sourcing will have cross-functional responsibilities including the following:

Support IT stakeholder engagements to execute sourcing strategies aligned to financial and operational control objectives.

Support compliance with procurement policies, processes, and systems for IT category spend.

Support the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle, including RFx execution, contracting coordination, and downstream procurement activities.

Assist in managing renewals to support savings delivery and minimize business disruption.

Participate in vendor QBRs and support preparation of materials and insights.

Analyze spend and contract data to support the identification of savings and efficiency opportunities.

Support sourcing initiatives by executing against defined project objectives across financial, risk, and operational priorities.

Develop subject matter knowledge through research, benchmarking, and internal collaboration.

Support negotiations with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and contractual terms under guidance from senior team members.

Review intake requests and gather business requirements from stakeholders.

Support evaluation of supplier proposals and facilitate coordination toward vendor selection.

Assist with supplier onboarding activities and coordination across internal functions.

Provide status updates to stakeholders regarding sourcing requests and timelines.

Partner closely with Sourcing Directors and Associate Directors to align on category strategy, requirements, and targets.

Requirements

4-6 years of IT Strategic Sourcing or procurement experience in a global organization, preferably within financial services, with the ability to quickly ramp into active sourcing workstreams and deliver value with limited onboarding time.

Exposure to executing RFx processes and supporting contract negotiations across IT categories (hardware, software, telecom/networking, cloud, and professional services).

Foundational understanding of enterprise IT vendors and emerging technologies.

Strong communication skills with ability to translate sourcing concepts for business and functional stakeholders.

Strong organizational and execution skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and provide seamless coverage across in-flight sourcing activities with appropriate guidance and escalation.

Analytical and reporting capabilities to support sourcing insights and decision-making.

Adaptability and comfort working in evolving, transformation-oriented environments.

Basic understanding of financial, legal, and operational controls in regulated environments.

Exposure to supporting SLA development and supplier performance management.
