A Brief Overview

The US LBM Item File Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the ERP Item File. This role involves managing a team, optimizing workflows, ensuring timely and accurate ERP data management, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. This associate will work closely with company experts to develop product data standards and processes for team members, manage ERP data quality and implementation projects (analysis, testing and implementation). Training team members, as well as customers, on processes is required. In this position you will work often work independently and use judgment when completing tasks to ensure a seamless end to end ERP Item File Maintenance.

What you will do
  • Manage team involved in ERP data management, provide onboarding of new Item File Analysts and provide training, and manage performance. Acts as the first line of support to the team for issue resolution. Deliver performance coaching, feedback and recognition to assigned direct report associates.
  • Analyze Item File data structure plus ERP Item File metrics and performance to identify areas for improvement and to optimize operations. Identify data standards gaps and facilitates cross-team collaborative discussions with Item File leadership, Supply Chain and Division Operations. Lead project efforts that will include analysis, implementation, and validation.
  • Implementing quality assurance measures to minimize errors in ERP data management and maintain customer satisfaction. Audits, tracks and reports out associate accuracy and volume metrics for tickets completed by the team.
  • Develops new processes or maintains enhancement of existing Item File processes to support training and documented best practices to be used by the team. Provides ongoing training and development of the Item File team members on best practices and processes.
  • Address any issues related to ERP data management to enhance customer experience. Ensure effective issue escalation and communication across the organization with associates at all levels within the company. Communicate project progress and milestones to the manager of the Item File team.

Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience Qualifications
  • 5+ years of industry knowledge and demonstrated mastery of Item File data management processes.

Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, train and support others.
  • Strong knowledge of the building material industry to support Supply Chain objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of the building material industry and ERP Data
  • Knowledge of computer-based product data management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and data manipulation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve high performance and meet operational goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and implement improvements.
