US-IT Developer/Engineer | Frisco, Texas, United States US-IT Developer/Engineer (Senior Network Engineer) - Frisco, Texas (Onsite) About the Role Join a dynamic technology team as a Senior Network Engineer in Frisco, Texas, where you will drive the design, implementation, and security of advanced enterprise and data center networks. This onsite position offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge hardware and network solutions, providing significant opportunities for professional growth and exposure to the latest in network architecture and cybersecurity. Responsibilities - Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and security appliances. - Implement and manage changes in large-scale network environments using platforms like Infoblox and Bind. - Design and deploy network security measures such as device hardening, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability assessments. - Support and optimize data center technologies, including Leaf & Spine architecture and EVPN-VXLAN. - Resolve complex network and equipment issues to ensure robust operational stability. - Maintain detailed documentation for all network configurations and processes. - Work extensively with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies (STP, RSTP). - Manage essential network services such as DNS, DHCP, and NTP to ensure high availability. Required Skills and Experience - Expert knowledge of networking components: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, BGP, OSPF. - Hands-on experience with Ethernet, EVPN, IGMP, STP, RSTP, 802.1x. - Proficiency in Policy Based Routing, Quality of Service (QoS), Netflow. - Advanced skills with HPE Aruba hardware (Mobility Controllers, Instant APs, Airwave, Central, ClearPass). - Experience operating HPE Aruba, 3com, H3C, Arista, and Juniper switches. - Strong background with Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Checkpoint Firewalls. - In-depth experience with Juniper and Arista switches (QFx5120/5130 series). - Knowledge of SDN and SD-WAN solutions. - Proficiency with Solarwinds network monitoring tools. - Expertise in both IPv4 and IPv6 networking. - Additional capabilities in Cybersecurity, Storage (SAN/NAS), and Databases (SQL, Mongo). Preferred Skills - Experience with large-scale enterprise or data center network deployments. - Exposure to advanced automation and scripting for network management. - Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements. - Advanced certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP, Aruba Certified).
