The role will establish a focused U.S. Federal Government growth strategy, align stakeholders around shared priorities, and create a coordinated Siemens experience for federal customers and agencies.

You'll Make an Impact By:
  • Leading Siemens USA's Federal Government growth strategy and business plan, informed by agency missions, procurement dynamics, market trends, customer needs, competitive insights, and the One Tech Company ambition.
  • Setting priorities across the U.S. Federal Government market, including civilian agencies, non-classified defense opportunities, classified and national security environments, and identified administration initiatives.
  • Identifying the limited set of major pursuits where cross-business coordination, executive sponsorship, or a unified Siemens approach can materially improve win strategy and execution.
  • Orchestrating strategic opportunity capture by aligning Siemens businesses, Siemens Government Technologies (SGT), Government Affairs, Legal and Compliance, communications, marketing, financing, consulting, and technical capabilities as appropriate.
  • Clarifying when Siemens should engage as a coordinated enterprise and when an opportunity should remain business-led, while respecting each business's accountability for contracting, resources, execution, and P&L.
  • Developing and executing the U.S. Federal Government market plan, including priority agencies, target accounts, focus opportunities, ecosystem partners, channels, growth initiatives, and measurable execution actions.
  • Building and leading a cross-business Federal community that creates visibility, resolves dependencies, shares market intelligence, and strengthens collaboration across Siemens.
  • Establishing a repeatable governance cadence for major pursuits, including clear owners, risks, dependencies, decisions, milestones, and near-term actions.
  • Building trusted relationships with senior federal customers, ecosystem partners, consultants, and industry stakeholders while coordinating leadership engagement and external outreach across Siemens.
  • Translating federal mission needs and customer insights into enterprise actions, portfolio priorities, solution development, partnership choices, investment needs, and sales enablement.
  • Partnering with Legal, Compliance, Government Affairs, SGT, and business leaders to support appropriate engagement across civilian, defense, classified, and non-classified environments.
  • Representing Siemens in relevant industry forums, trade associations, events, and thought leadership activities in alignment with the company's Federal strategy and applicable requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in the U.S. Federal Government market, with knowledge of agencies, departments, missions, buying centers, acquisition cycles, and procurement processes.
  • Experience developing or leading growth, go-to-market, business development, capture, account, or vertical strategies for federal customers.
  • Federal procurement and government contracting expertise, including experience navigating complex acquisition stakeholders and partner ecosystems.
  • Experience in technology, industrial technology, software, infrastructure, engineering, or similarly complex solutions environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional pursuits and influencing senior stakeholders across a matrixed organization without direct authority.
  • Ability to translate federal mission requirements into growth priorities, market plans, portfolio strategies, and coordinated execution.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Ability to travel 30-40% of the time for customer visits, industry engagement, internal alignment, and market development.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of classified versus non-classified opportunity environments, national security stakeholders, civilian agencies, and compliance-sensitive engagement models.
  • Experience coordinating with government affairs, legal, compliance, contracts, consultants, system integrators, channel partners, and executive leadership.
  • Commercial acumen across direct sales, partners, channels, strategic accounts, solution development, and complex opportunity capture.
  • Experience creating governance, portfolio reviews, pursuit prioritization, or operating cadences that convert strategy into owned actions and decisions.
  • Familiarity with Siemens' portfolio and how its industrial, infrastructure, automation, software, research, and service capabilities may address Federal customer needs.
  • Strong executive communication, judgment, presence, and relationship-building skills.

Scope, Impact & Accountability

In this role, you will own the U.S. Federal Government market strategy, growth agenda, business plan, and enterprise coordination model.
