The Health, Wealth, and Mobility team is focused on innovation, identifying how to continually enhance our employee experience, showing up as leaders in this space. Our global Health, Wealth, and Mobility portfolio consists of compensation, health benefits, retirement programs, leaves & accommodations, wellness programs, mobility and immigration, and several other important components of the employee total rewards offering and experience. The US Benefits Manager reports to the Senior Manager, Benefits.

core responsibilities

As the US Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our employee insurance program across the United States. Your role is vital in collaborating with various internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure our insurance program is innovative, compliant, and aligned with our goals and values. You will also serve as a key resource for internal inquiries and work to enhance the overall employee experience through effective benefits administration.
  • Oversee the day to day administration of health insurance programs
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing benefits programs. Research and benchmark benefits offerings to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
  • Ensure all benefits programs are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations. Stay updated on changes in benefits laws and regulations to maintain compliance.
  • Manage relationships with benefits vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and service agreements to optimize service and cost-efficiency.
  • Develop and deliver clear, engaging communications regarding benefits programs, policies, and changes to employees.
  • Prepare and present reports on benefits program utilization, costs, and trends. Analyze data to drive decision-making and improvements.
  • Lead special projects related to benefits initiatives, including open enrollment and any net new program offerings
  • Coordinate and assign tasks effectively within the team to ensure day to day commitments and project deadlines are met, while contributing directly to hands-on work alongside colleagues
  • Support with tasks across the Health & Benefits team as required
  • Support with ad hoc assignments as required
qualifications
  • Post-secondary education, ideally in HR, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in benefits, with a strong understanding of U.S. benefits regulations and compliance.
  • Proven experience in managing benefits programs and vendor relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

compensation and benefits package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from$112,000-$147,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
