Key Responsibilities:- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing pulmonology sales organization, establishing the accountability, collaboration, and execution standards that will define BMS's field culture in this space
- Design the national sales deployment model (field structure, territory alignment, call plan, sizing) in partnership with the Brand Lead
- Own field readiness across hiring, training, systems, and launch materials to ensure Day 1 execution capability
- Lead the sales organization through the full arc of launch, adjusting strategy as competitive dynamics and market access evolve, while sustaining customer focus and team engagement
- Set field performance standards - KPIs, incentive compensation design, and business review cadence - in partnership with Commercial Operations, driving accountability through coaching and data-driven course correction
- Foster an inclusive, patient-centered culture through coaching, talent development, succession planning, and clear performance expectations
- Partner closely with Marketing, Medical, Market Access, and PASS to align priorities and accelerate business outcomes
- Use market insights, customer feedback, analytics, and performance data to inform strategy, identify opportunities, and optimize results
- Lead resource planning and investment decisions, ensuring field deployment and budgets align with ICV strategy and growth objectives
- Strengthen customer engagement by advancing AI-enabled personalization and next-generation go-to-market approaches, enhancing field effectiveness
- Cultivate relationships with top-tier KOLs and priority accounts alongside the field team, establishing BMS's credibility as a trusted partner in pulmonology
- Ensure all field activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policy, partnering with Legal/Compliance on promotional review and field conduct standards
Compensation Overview:$270,530 - $327,818
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee's work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.

*Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees in remote-by-design or lab-based roles may be eligible for summer hours, depending on the nature of their work, and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program.
