Full Job Description
Under the direction of the Director of Procedures and Urgent Care, this position is responsible for the daily operational oversight and coordination of clinical and non-clinical activities within the Urgent Care department. Under the direction of the Director of Procedures and Urgent Care, this role ensures that high quality, efficient, and compassionate care is delivered to all patients in alignment with organizational standards and regulatory guidelines. The Supervisor will serve as a leader and resource for staff, facilitating effective communication, promoting teamwork, and supporting continuous improvement in clinical workflows and patient experience. The Urgent Care Supervisor will interact with other departments, clinic personnel, and outside providers in a professional and friendly manner, to create and maintain a positive relationship with our internal and external customers.
1.1 Supervise and coordinate daily operational functions of the Urgent Care Clinic, including staffing, scheduling, patient flow, and real-time issue resolution.
1.2 Monitor clinical performance and patient care standards to ensure compliance with protocols, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks.
1.3 Maintain a visible and supportive presence on the clinic floor; serve as a point of contact for staff concerns, workflow issues, and patient escalations, referring to the Director when appropriate.
1.4 Support onboarding, training, and mentorship of new and existing staff; provide ongoing coaching and participate in performance evaluations in collaboration with leadership.
1.5 Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and ancillary departments to facilitate timely, coordinated, and effective patient care delivery.
1.6 Oversee inventory management, equipment readiness, and maintenance of a safe and efficient clinical environment.
1.7 Partner with the Lab and Clinic Specialist to monitor and ensure timely completion of required logs (daily, weekly, and monthly).
1.8 Participate in data tracking and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs), including patient satisfaction, throughput, and departmental goals.
1.9 Contribute to policy development, emergency preparedness, and staff education and training initiatives.
1.10 Investigate and resolve patient or staff concerns; serve as liaison between staff and the Director of Procedures and Urgent Care.
1.11 Ensure staff preparedness for regulatory or accreditation audits; assist with auditor visits and ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational requirements.
1.12 Maintain reliable attendance and accountability to support continuity of clinic operations and leadership
presence.
4.1 College diploma or university degree in the field of nursing, bachelor's degree preferred; graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
4.2 Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
4.3 Current Registered Nursing License required.
4.4 Must have current CPR and ACLS certification.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $57.81 and 68.01. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
