About the RoleStopwatch Urgent Care is hiring a full-time experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Auburn clinic. Auburn is a vibrant college city in east-central Alabama, home to Auburn University, with a strong local economy and a growing population. This role also covers our nearby Opelika clinic.
At a Glance- Sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, based on experience and start date, with a 12-month commitment

What You'll DoAssess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and episodic conditions. Perform common urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, and DOT physicals. Order and interpret in-house labs and imaging. Prescribe, educate patients, and complete same-day charting in Experity EMR.
How You'll PracticeYou are the provider on shift and make your own clinical decisions, backed by established protocols, a dedicated clinic team, and clinical leadership when you need them. Onboarding includes a structured clinical orientation. Schedules are published in advance through a self-scheduling app, and extra shifts are easy to pick up.
CompensationCompetitive hourly rate based on experience and credentials. Productivity incentives are available above base pay. Sign-on bonuses are offered on a case-by-case basis, based on experience and start date. Relocation assistance may also be available.

Qualifications- Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Alabama, or eligible for licensure
- National certification: AANP or ANCC for NPs, NCCPA for PAs
- Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience; new graduates are not eligible for this role
- Current BLS
- DOT Medical Examiner certification, or willingness to complete within 6 weeks of start (training provided)
- Urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred
