About the RoleCarolina QuickCare is hiring a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Murphy clinic. Murphy is located in the far western tip of North Carolina in the Appalachian Mountains, offering mountain living with a low cost of living and access to outdoor recreation year-round.
At a Glance- Sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, based on experience and start date, with a 12-month commitment
- Pay: $55-$70/hour ($103K-$131K per year), time-and-a-half after 40 hours
- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, so 4 days off every week

What You'll DoAssess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and episodic conditions. Perform common urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, and DOT physicals. Order and interpret in-house labs and imaging. Prescribe, educate patients, and chart in Experity EMR.
How You'll PracticeYou are the provider on-site and make your own clinical decisions, backed by established protocols, a dedicated clinic team, and clinical leadership when you need them. Onboarding includes a structured clinical orientation. Schedules are published in advance through a self-scheduling app, and extra shifts are easy to pick up.
Compensation$55-$70/hour based on experience and credentials. Productivity incentives are available above base pay. Sign-on bonuses are offered on a case-by-case basis, based on experience and start date. Relocation assistance may also be available.

Qualifications- FNP-C or PA-C licensed in North Carolina, or eligible for licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS
- DOT Medical Examiner certification, or willingness to complete within 6 weeks of start (training provided)
- 1+ year of urgent care, emergency, or primary care experience preferred
