Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or AKS) in production
• Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform
• Cloud-native architecture on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• CI/CD tooling: GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Tekton, or equivalent
• Strong scripting/automation in Python or Go
• Observability stack experience: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic
• Demonstrated experience shipping and operating production ML or AI systems

Responsibilities

• Support and evolve the infrastructure behind URBN's ecommerce sites to ensure high availability and performance during peak traffic events.
• Operate and improve the infrastructure supporting the Order Management System (OMS) and the integration layer for commerce and fulfillment services.
• Design and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines with standards around testing, rollback, and release safety.
• Build tooling that allows engineering teams to self-serve infrastructure, standardize deployments, and enhance shipping speed without sacrificing reliability.
• Architect the platform layer for URBN's enterprise AI initiatives including LLM orchestration and secure cost-efficient agent runtimes.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to build infrastructure for accessible AI capabilities across the organization.
• Own the observability stack to enable teams to detect and resolve issues quickly across commerce and AI systems.
• Implement controls for security and compliance regarding access governance, secrets management, and audit logging.
