Summary of Job Duties:

The University Anaplan Project Director is responsible for developing, maintaining, deploying, and improving the Universitys budget and business-planning software, Anaplan, that is used in the annual development of the Universitys Financial and Position Budget. The University Anaplan Project Director would also oversee training the campus on the use of the software and leading all change management functions associated with the software through implementation and all subsequent updates.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting, business, or a related field

  • At least three years of university Anaplan experience

  • At least one year of consulting with Anaplan

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or relevant Professional Licensure

  • At least three years of higher education experience

  • At least three years of budget accounting experience

  • Workday experience

  • Anaplan Certification: Certified Model Builder

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (functions, formulas, filters, charts, graphs, and pivot tables)

  • Knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and University laws & regulations

  • Detail oriented

  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Strong accounting skillset

  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures as well as applicable laws

  • Ability to perform financial analysis and prepare detailed financial reports
