The Role:

Hiscox is an established market for Terrorism with a broad range of solutions including Active Shooter & Malicious Attack, Terrorism Liability, Sabotage, NCBR and Malicious Acts. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Underwrite, price and negotiate accounts consistent with the quality of risk and according to the company’s strategy and guidelines for the Terrorism product line

• Develop new relationships and increase productivity of existing relationships with wholesale and retail brokers

• Drive flow of qualified new business submissions from appointed brokers

• Maintain excellent customer service standards

• Monitor product results and develop ideas to increase productivity and profitability

• At times, 30% regional travel required including industry events and broker visits

• Experience in sales is ideal, and experience in insurance with established relationships with wholesale property and general liability brokers is a plus

• The ability to identify business needs

• Strong understanding of basic sales principles, negotiation skills and demonstrate a competitive drive

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative environment

• Innate service focus which enables one to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external customers and partners

• B.A./B.S degree from an accredited College or University

Salary range: $75-$100k

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
