Compensation

Salary Range: $47.18 - $64.90 per hour

 

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

The Ultrasound Technologist’s primary function is to produce diagnostic ultrasound scans in a hospital setting and deliver high quality care, while keeping current with new technology.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate's Degree (AA or AS)
  • Current Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification  

Preferred:

  • Six (6) months recent ultrasound experience in an acute care setting
  • Proficient in sterile technique
  • Biligual in Spanish
