Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat in and outpatient diagnoses
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Aides as assigned
  • Communicate effectively with Nursing and ancillary services
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Assess patient progress and adjust treatment as needed

Compensation

Salary Range: $47.18 - $69.57 per hour

 

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Provides evaluation and treatment to a variety of in and outpatient diagnoses. Supervises Occupational Therapy Aides as assigned as appropriate. Communicates with Nursing and other ancillary services as required.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor27s Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current CA Occupational Therapist license issued by the Board of Occupational Therapy
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred:

  • One (1) year of professional experience with both in and outpatient areas of an acute care hospital, including pre-graduate clinical internships.
  • Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Master27s Degree in Occupational Therapy
