Full Job Description
Supports the sales organization of the assigned organizational unit in developing strategic and midterm business strategies, structures and processes, focusing options to exploit best market opportunities. The responsibility of the Ultrasound Business Manager is to actively develop, support and promote EWS -Ultrasound business goals and objectives that lead to revenue growth and profitability. The BM will be expected to extend the reach of the Education & Workforce Solutions (EWS) portfolio through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships. Designing and implementing business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals will be another key task of this individual. You will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, and help build the EWS brand that will help ensure improved outcomes for our customers and their patients. Key Responsibilities • Manage both our existing sales pipeline and develop new business opportunities for the modality EWS portfolio • Collaborate with the NAM Business Lines, Service Business Management and HQ Education on future initiatives to drive education strategic goals. Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company. • Modality interface to Program management and Content Development team and BL SME’s, responsible for ensuring appropriate content and portfolio elements align to modality product, customer and market needs. • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy • Price book management coordination with relevant stakeholders. • Educate, develop, and enable sales channels through, but not limited to, presentations, social and traditional media • Motivate the team, track performance, and report metrics • Acquire, maintain, and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations that will enhance job performance • Support existing company and division policies and goals • Effectively support and manage stakeholder relationships • Support the development (and adherence) of the modality financial targets in partnership with the Clinical Practice Head and finance Success Measurements • Ability to analyze customer’s clinical education needs and develop detailed short- and long-term plans for portfolio improvement. • Strong written and verbal and excellent presentation skills • Should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment, requiring individual dedication and initiative • Extensive knowledge of all equipment in required modality • Regulatory and compliance management • Budgetary recommendations and management • Demonstrated ability to interface with Physicians and other higher-level medical staff and administration • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems internally and externally • Demonstrated ability to seek opportunities for improvement through innovative ideas and creative solutions • Effective objection handling and ability to communicate at all levels for problem resolution • Ability to work as a team player and see and adapt to changes in a dynamic market and business environment, and to reset goals and strategies accordingly Education / Knowledge / Experience • BS/BA in related discipline or relevant experience. • Graduate from a Certified Radiologic Technology Program. • Registered or licensed in the clinical modality of employment. • Minimum of 8 years of experience in clinical area of employment and successful demonstration • Understanding of healthcare education marketplace, preferably relative to diagnostic imaging and therapy • Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook • Understanding of project management The base pay range for this position is: $119,920 - $164,890 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
