Job Summary

The UI/UX Developer is responsible for applying interactive and visual design principles on T2 web applications for a positive and cohesive user experience. This role should be versed in UI design, UX design, and front-end development, as well as have a solid understanding of human behavior. A good UI/UX developer will understand how to align business and marketing goals with technology. Great communication skills and the ability to think outside the box are key traits needed to create great user experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Help gather and evaluate UI/UX requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
  • Create and maintain digital assets, such as interface design files, wireframes, and mockups that clearly illustrate how applications should function and look like.
  • Design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code using the Angular Framework.
  • Works closely with other departments to write design documents that will solve business problems that our customers have.
  • Proposes design approaches for review and agreement from peers or supervisor.
  • Adhere to T2 UI and UX design standards.
  • Participates in design, code, and product reviews.

Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
  • 3+ year's experience as a UI/UX Developer or similar role.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates Angular proficiency, understanding of SOLID design principles, and good UI/UX design.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and CSS preprocessors.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript and the Angular framework.
  • Proficiency in designing interfaces and building prototypes.
  • Proficiency using Git version control.
  • Proficiency using the command line.
  • Understands Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and understands how to be an effective member of an Agile team.
  • Must have the ability to think about the "Big Picture". Able to look at issues from multiple angles to devise the best solution.
  • Must have critical thinking skills with the ability to provide clear concise decisions.
  • Must have problem solving skills and can analyze and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to work with other members of the development team to provide advice and technical guidance on issues.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to work with project team members to keep projects on track.
  • Ability to stay on the leading edge of technology.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints for customers and staff.

  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Knowledge of the parking industry is preferred.
