Job Description

You will play a crucial role in developing innovative and user-friendly interfaces, working closely with our platform engineers and UX team. As a UI Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge dashboards and interfaces. Your expertise in TypeScript and React will be key in creating an exceptional user experience. We are looking for someone who can collaborate effectively with our platform engineers to showcase control plane state and work with our UX team to ensure modern UI design principles are followed.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop operator/admin, user/customer, and developer-facing dashboards with TypeScript and React.
  • Collaborate with platform engineers to surface control plane state and ensure seamless integration.
  • Implement multi-tenant UI patterns and role-based interface design, considering user roles and permissions.
  • Work closely with the UX team, including architects, designers, and researchers, to create an intuitive and visually appealing user experience.
  • Follow modern UI design principles, focusing on feature/component-driven design for an efficient and engaging interface.
  • Integrate with Go-based backend microservices and work with gRPC and REST APIs for data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Utilize UI test frameworks like Cypress or Selenium to ensure the reliability and performance of the UI.
  • Have experience working in Kubernetes environments, understanding containerization and orchestration concepts.


Qualifications

  • Strong frontend engineering skills, particularly with TypeScript and React, are a must.
  • Experience in designing and implementing dashboards for different user roles (operator/admin, user/customer, developer).
  • Understanding of multi-tenant UI patterns and role-based interface design.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with platform engineers and the UX team, ensuring effective communication and alignment.

  • Experience working with Go-based backend microservices and gRPC/REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with UI test frameworks (Cypress, Selenium) for testing and debugging.
  • Experience in Kubernetes environments, including containerization and orchestration concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
