  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners in diverse geographies
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers

Full Job Description
Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is looking for an Ultra High Purity (UHP) Project Engineer to join the West Customer Engineering Operations team based in the Greater Phoenix, Arizona area. This position involves managing the development and implementation of complex UHP industrial gas delivery system projects for semiconductor and electronics clients, with UHP or equivalent experience preferred. The position covers the full lifecycle of projects-from proposal development through execution, commissioning, and turnover-while collaborating with multi-functional global teams that include customer engineering asset, product, work process and equipment support, as well as adjacent partners in sales, logistics, and operations. The role emphasizes safety leadership, technical excellence, and customer-focused solution delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong safety leadership, excellent organizational and project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. They should be customer-focused, goal-oriented, and capable of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. This role also requires occasional domestic travel (approximately 5-10%).
