Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in exploration drilling (air rotary and core).
• 2+ years experience underground and/or at the surface.
• Knowledgeable in contract management.
• Commitment to safety with zero accidents and citations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and AcQuire software.
• Understanding of the exploration process.
• Willingness to travel locally regularly.

Responsibilities

• Review and support drilling program planning.
• Advise on appropriate drilling methods for project objectives.
• Ensure drill sites meet design specifications.
• Set up drill rigs properly for operation.
• Report daily activities in detail.
• Update on hole conditions, sample recovery, and any drilling delays.
• Liaise with Mine Operations personnel for coordination.
• Ensure downhole surveys adhere to specifications.
• Inspect equipment and storage areas for compliance.
• Manage inventory of drilling consumables.
• Participate in contractor safety meetings and investigations.
• Engage in visible leadership with drill contractors.
