As a Turnaround and Restructuring Analyst within Huron's Business Advisory practice, you will work alongside experienced consultants to help organizations navigate periods of financial, operational, and strategic change. Our team partners with clients facing complex challenges to improve performance, stabilize operations, enhance liquidity, and position their businesses for long-term success.
From day one, you will gain hands-on experience supporting client engagements, conducting financial and operational analyses, developing recommendations, and working within a small but powerful project team to solve critical business issues. You are provided with the mentorship required while offering opportunities to contribute independently as part of a collaborative consulting team.

Responsibilities:- Analyze financial, operational, and business performance data to identify risks, opportunities, and key drivers of performance.
- Support cash flow forecasting, liquidity analysis, and financial modeling efforts.
- Conduct operational assessments and develop insights to support turnaround and performance improvement recommendations.
- Create presentations, reports, and other client-facing deliverables.
- Collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to support strategic and operational initiatives.
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, and working sessions.
- Provide a high level of responsiveness to client and project requirements.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues and clients while demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to quality.
Requirements and Qualifications- Demonstrated academic excellence in a bachelor's program with a graduation date of Spring 2027 (May/June 2027).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with coursework in financial modeling, accounting, and corporate finance.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Advanced or highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office products (e.g. Microsoft Visio and Outlook).
- Comfortable with a dynamic, fast-paced work environment, including the potential for extended hours depending on project demands.
- A role with Huron requires travel to client sites. The nature and frequency of travel will depend on the specific project requirements and client needs.
- U.S. work authorization required.
- Location: Chicago or NYC.
Preferred Qualifications- Prior internship experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, or accounting is a plus.
- Interest in bankruptcy, distressed investing, corporate turnarounds, or operational improvements.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $90,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
