Full Job Description
The Turbine Island Engineer will support engineering activities for emerging opportunities in the civil nuclear sector, with a focus on advanced nuclear technologies and future nuclear new-build programs.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

- Develop and coordinate technical inputs related to Turbine Island systems, equipment, and design constraints

- Support system definition and participate in design reviews

- Manage interfaces with NSSS, balance of plant (BOP), electrical, and layout teams

- Ensure Turbine Island design assumptions are accurately captured in the integrated design baseline

- Identify and document licensing-relevant design information

- Provide targeted technical support to resolve system-level issues

- Maintain interface assumptions and system-level issue logs

- Collaborate with internal teams and technical counterparts

- Contribute to the integrated delivery schedule

Basic Qualifications

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in process or mechanical engineering or related technical field

- Experience working on complex engineering projects in regulated industries

- Strong understanding of system design, interfaces, and engineering integration

- Ability to coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with turbine island systems in nuclear or power generation projects

- Familiarity with advanced reactor designs

- Knowledge of nuclear regulatory and licensing considerations

- Experience supporting multidisciplinary design reviews

Education Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline required

Compensation Details:
