a. Description- Defines, communicates and implements security architecture and administration processes for all platforms. Applies advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members. Bachelors degree and 10+ years directly related experience or Masters degree and 5+ years directly related experience. Years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree for certain roles. Certifications may be accepted in lieu of a degree for certain technical roles.

Required Skills & Experience

i. 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, with at least 4 years in a leadership/strategic role.
ii. Demonstrated expertise in RMF processes, NIST SP 800-137 (Information Security Continuous Monitoring), and AFI 17-101 compliance requirements.
iii. Knowledge of network defense, incident response, vulnerability management, and secure software development practices for cyber operations within DoD, USAF, or other federal environments.
iv. Experience leading cross-functional cyber teams in complex, mission-critical environments .
v. Experience facilitating ongoing authorization processes, enabling continuous monitoring and reducing reliance on traditional, time-intensive authorization procedures.
vi. Ability to serve as the primary liaison between cyber operations teams, development teams, leadership, and mission partners to ensure alignment of security posture with operational priorities.
vii. Ability to maintain comprehensive documentation of security controls, compliance status, and operational activities.
viii. Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
ix. Possess a CISSP and/or GSLC Certification.
x. TS/SCI clearance is required.
c. Nice to Have
i. Experience with Air Force Platform One, Cloud One, or similar DoD software platforms.
ii. Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
