Project Description & Required Skills

The e-Builder Administrator will serve as the primary point of contact for managing system-level settings and supporting both internal and external users within the e-Builder platform. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle management, customization, configuration, and support of business processes within the PMIS system.

The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to standardize and optimize workflows that support organizational, client, and project team requirements. Responsibilities include account-level modifications, report customization, dashboard configuration, template management, and overall system administration.

Responsibilities
  • Manage e-Builder system administration functions, including project setup and user provisioning.
  • Configure and maintain user accounts and system settings.
  • Maintain templates including forms, budgets, schedules, and mail merges.
  • Onboard and train new users on e-Builder functionality.
  • Manage subscriptions to reports and folders.
  • Provide administrative and technical support for the e-Builder platform.
  • Deliver ongoing user support, including reporting and permitted configuration changes.
  • Collaborate with process owners to ensure business processes and procedures are followed.
  • Assist in the development of training materials for project staff.
  • Provide continuous training and support for all platform users.
  • Troubleshoot e-Builder issues and coordinate resolutions as needed.
  • Manage user rights, permissions, and document control configurations.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and project discussions.
  • Support the creation of reports and dashboards to meet program and project requirements.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to forms, reports, workflows, and system settings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting e-Builder or similar capital project, construction, or project management software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across all organizational levels.
  • Experience in IT business process analysis, quality management systems, and/or project controls.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with database management, spreadsheets, and word-processing applications.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Strong understanding of construction industry methodologies, terminology, workflows, and documentation practices.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of thriving in a demanding work environment.
