Full Job Description
Are you passionate about helping others navigate life's toughest challenges? As a full-time Treatment Director at EOSIS in Waverly, MN, you'll have the unique opportunity to support individuals during one of the most vulnerable-and courageous-moments in their lives.

The purpose of this position is to oversee the overall operations of the specific facility while ensuring a professional safe environment for clients and employees. If a Treatment Director is simultaneously an alcohol and drug counselor that individual must be considered a .5 FTE equivalent alcohol and drug counselor for purposes of meeting staffing requirements.

Pay: $87,000 - $112,000 Annually
Shift: Full-Time, 1 st shift

Responsibilities

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
  • Develop and implement specific annual objectives for the facility.
  • Develop and monitor annual budget to ensure fiscal stability.
  • Ensure current state, federal and accreditation requirements are met.
  • Provide leadership and staff development.
  • Write monthly financial summaries/analysis.
  • Oversee and participate in the auditing process to ensure that Rule 31 regulations are being met.
  • Program review and design
  • Review referrals for potential admissions
  • Assist in all departments as qualified and as needed
  • Weekly payroll entries/approvals
  • Critical incident reviews and submissions
  • Crisis intervention
  • To act with authority in the best interest(s) of the clients, staff, stakeholders and community.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • The Director may admit, transfer, or discharge clients.
  • Complete on-going training on cultural awareness and demonstration of sensitivity to various cultural norms and values.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

Required:
  • Must have at least one year of work experience in direct service to individuals with chemical use problems or one year work experience in the management or administration of direct service to individuals with chemical use problems; and
  • Have a baccalaureate degree or three years of work experience in administration or personnel supervision in human services.
  • Must know or be willing to receive training on all parts and the implications of MN Statute 245G as well as all other required rules and regulations.
  • Must document 12 hours of training in co-occurring mental health problems and chemical abuse of dependency that includes competencies related to philosophy, screening, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, documentation, programming, medication, collaboration, mental health consultation, discharge planning.
Preferred:
  • Strong verbal skills and ability to communicate abstract concepts in a simple format
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of people from diverse cultures, socioeconomic and educational backgrounds.
  • Strong knowledge of the 12 core functions
  • Flexibility to meet a variety of changing priorities
  • Computer skills to draft emails, memos, and reporting.
