Full Job Description
Deerwood Bank is looking for a Treasury Management Manager to help lead and grow our Treasury Management function. This position will work in our Mendota Heights, St Michael, Waite Park, or Baxter, MN location. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys treasury management, commercial banking, customer relationships, and hands-on leadership. The Treasury Management Manager will work closely with business bankers, lenders, retail teams, operations, and clients to deliver simple, helpful solutions that make business banking easier. The ideal candidate is a performing manager who can build relationships, develop new business, support implementations, coach the team, and help ensure Treasury Management services are delivered accurately, efficiently, and with the friendly service our customers expect.

Success in this role will be measured by Treasury Management relationship growth, deposit production, client satisfaction, team development, and sound risk management.

What You'll Do

Lead and Support the Team

  • Lead and develop the Treasury Management team.
  • Establish goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching and support.
  • Promote a positive team culture focused on service, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.


Grow Relationships and Deposits

  • Personally develop Treasury Management business through prospecting, referrals, networking, and joint calling efforts.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of Treasury Management opportunities.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with business customers, prospects, and centers of influence.
  • Partner with Business Bankers and lenders to identify opportunities within existing and prospective client relationships.
  • Prepare and deliver Treasury Management proposals and recommendations.


Help Customers Use Treasury Management Services

  • Serve as a Treasury Management resource for customers and Bank staff.
  • Assist clients with Treasury Management product selection, implementation, training, and ongoing support.
  • Oversee Treasury Management products and services to ensure consistent and positive customer experience.
  • Work closely with operations, technology partners, and vendors to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Stay informed on Treasury Management products, services, technology, and industry trends.


Support Strategy, Operations, and Risk Management

  • Support the Bank's deposit growth and Treasury Management strategy.
  • Monitor market trends and opportunities to enhance Treasury Management offerings.
  • Ensure appropriate controls and procedures are in place to manage Treasury Management risk.
  • Participate in policy development, audits, compliance reviews, and vendor management activities.
  • Recommend process improvements, product enhancements, and revenue opportunities.


What We're Looking For

  • Experience in Treasury Management, commercial banking, business banking, or a related financial services role.
  • A relationship-first approach with strong communication, follow-through, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
  • Knowledge of commercial deposits, payment systems, online banking platforms, Treasury Management products, risk controls, and banking operations.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across the organization.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
  • CTP, AAP, or similar industry certification preferred.


Starting pay range: $120,000-$165,000 annually, plus discretionary incentive

Standard work hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, with additional hours for customer or business needs.

Benefits are available to employees working 30 or more hours per week on the first of the month following date of hire.
