Department/Position Overview:
This Unit provides care to the following types of neuroscience patients
:- Back and Neck surgical patients
- Epilepsy patients
- All neurosurgeries ( brain, pituitary, etc.)
- Stroke patients ( surgical and non-surgical)
EducationAssociates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
Certification/Licensure- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS
ExperienceMust have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.
