Overview:Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Burn Trauma/Vascular Intensive Care Unit (ICU)Sentara Norfolk General Hospital - Norfolk, VA- $70.00/hr pay rate

Department/Unit Overview:- 16 bed unit
- Norfolk General Hospital is the only Sentara Facility that performs Kidney/Pancreas Transplants and complex vascular surgeries.
- Immediate surgical recovery of Kidney and Pancreas Transplant.
- General Surgical Patients requiring ICU.Management of patients requiring mechanical ventilation.
- Management of patients requiring CRRT and hemo-dialysis.Vascular: lower extremity revascularization, Abdominal Aortic Aneurism, Mesenteric Artery Repair, EVAR, TEVAR, Lower extremity bypass, revascularization, Carotid Endarectomy and Carotid Stent, EKOS- treatment for DVTs, Medical management of AAA's and dissections.General
- Patient Population Served: Adult medical and surgical patients requiring intensive nursing care.
- Average length of stay 2-3 days, complex patients may be there >30days.
Education- Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
Certification/Licensure- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Scale
Experience- Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.
