Overview:

Sentara Health Plans Community Care is looking to hire a Remote Cost of Care Analyst.

This is a remote position: Remote opportunities available in the following states: Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington (state), West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

The Cost of Care Analyst is a highly analytical and independent, problem solver in the health plans who can comprehend and digest complex data reports, identify issues, trends and solutions, and has an ability to drive execution through completion of an initiative. Uses data from internal and external sources to provide insights to decision makers to solve complex business decisions. Provides subject-matter expertise related to reporting and analysis and possesses a high degree of operational knowledge related to the health plan. Is a natural leader, one who is self-motivated, fully capable of meeting facilitation, and who proactively works collaboratively with business leaders to meet demands.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree (required)


Experience:
  • 5 years of related experience (required)
  • Familiar with SQL and Tableau (preferred)
  • Strong Excel experience (preferred)
  • QNXT and CSC (preferred)


We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is: $69,742.4 - $116,251.2 Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities
