Siemens Healthineers is currently seeking candidates for an EP Technologist position that will provide support in Charleston, WV. This is a travel healthcare contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

About Your Role:

The Travel Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist provides specialized technical expertise in cardiac electrophysiology procedures while supporting patient care across diverse healthcare settings. This role involves traveling to contracted facilities, adapting quickly to new environments, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic and interventional EP services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, operate, and maintain electrophysiology lab equipment, including mapping systems, recording devices, stimulators, and ablation technologies.
  • Assist physicians during complex EP procedures such as ablations, device implants (pacemakers, ICDs, CRT), and diagnostic studies.
  • Monitor patient status and cardiac rhythms during procedures, ensuring patient safety.
  • Collect, document, and analyze data related to cardiac electrophysiology studies.
  • Perform sterile scrub and circulating duties as required.
  • Ensure accurate equipment setup, troubleshooting, and compliance with facility and manufacturer standards.
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control, radiation safety, and procedural protocols.
  • Provide patient education and support before, during, and after procedures.
  • Adapt quickly to different healthcare environments, workflows, and team dynamics while maintaining consistency in quality of care.
  • Document procedures and maintain records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
