Full Job Description
Nightwing is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Travel and Expense Specialist to join our finance team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of travel and expense reports for our employees, in compliance with government regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel Coordination: Ensure compliance with government and company travel policies.

Expense Processing: Review and process employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance, including verifying receipts and proper coding of expenses.

Policy Compliance: Ensure all travel and expense activities adhere to company policies and government regulations, including the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR).

Reconciliation: Assist in the reconciliation of corporate credit card statements and employee expense accounts.

Reporting: Prepare and analyze travel and expense reports, providing insights and recommendations for cost-saving measures.

Employee Support: Provide guidance and support to employees regarding travel and expense policies, procedures, and reimbursements.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of travel and expense management.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of travel and expense experience, preferably within a government contracting environment.

Software: Emburse (Chrome River), Concur, or similar platform

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in travel booking systems and expense management software.

Knowledge of government travel regulations and compliance requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

PowerBI, SharePoint, PowerAutomate (Microsoft suite basically)

Salary & Benefits
The salary associated with this position ($55,000-$106,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
