Job DescriptionYou will be the Transportation Supervisor (Level 3) for the Production, Planning and Controlling organization. Our team is responsible for coordinating the timely movement of material throughout the facility and to local vendors while maintaining a safe, efficient fleet.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Transportation Supervisor (Level 3) you will be responsible for leading the Transportation team and ensuring seamless material flow.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate inter-departmental movement of material across the facility and to external vendors.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance of the transportation fleet to ensure safe working conditions.
- Manage and develop a team of 5+ direct reports, including recruitment, training, performance assessment, and disciplinary actions.
- Delegate assignments and adjust workflows to meet production demands, including work outside normal operating hours.
- Collaborate with production, planning, and control functions to align transportation activities with overall schedule.

Basic Qualifications- Must have or be able to obtain a security
clearance
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels
of management, industry peer, direct reports and
internal and external customers
- Experience and understanding for DOT
regulation for vehicles and drivers
- Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer
systems, databases, and programs
- Previous leadership experience
- Understand the management of budgets
Desired skills- DOT HazMat certification
- Experience managing a represented workforce
- Experience supporting Material Management and accounting System (MMAS)
- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory
Management (CPIM) certification
- Knowledge of industry wide best practices and
process for managing material flow throughout
the entire production supply chain
- Excellent communication skills
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
