This position may be based out of our Louisville or Denver office.How You'll Contribute:- Manage tasks and teams associated with transportation projects.
- Perform design services related to roadway and site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control in conformance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation OpenRoads.
- Prepare specifications and cost estimates.
- Plan and coordinate projects with limited supervision.
- Assist in assigning duties and schedules to team members.
- Participate in preparing proposals and project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Participate in Business Development based on strong client relationships.
- Provide construction support services.
The Strengths You Bring:- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (BSCE) from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent education is required.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, emphasizing transportation, public infrastructure, multimodal design, drainage, utilities, site development, and civic projects for municipal and private clients.
- Some project management experience is preferred, or experience managing budgets, schedules, and assigning tasks or collaborating with other team members.
- Experience with technical writing and reviewing reports.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Colorado, or the ability to obtain licensure within six months of hire.
- Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation OpenRoads.
- Knowledge of local and state regulations and codes, including AASHTO, CDOT, NACTO, and MUTCD design guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a creative, professional team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Some experience with business development and client relationships is preferred.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
