Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET accredited university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in Tennessee (TN) required.
• Minimum five (5) years of highway/roadway design experience.
• Demonstrated experience with TDOT specifications and processes.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality design deliverables.
• Ability to lead and collaborate within a design team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in OpenRoads 3D, MicroStation, Bentley, Geopak, and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the highway/roadway design team for medium to large projects and independently manage smaller projects.
• Perform analysis and design calculations for highway/roadway projects.
• Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for project execution.
• Serve as a technical liaison with clients to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.
• Manage day-to-day communication with clients and provide support to engineers and technical staff.
• Write reports and technical memos, coordinating with sub-consultants and internal teams.
• Organize and schedule specific project tasks to maintain timelines and budgets.
