DescriptionThe Transportation Analyst works under the general supervision of a Project Manager on assignments such as statewide and regional planning studies, multimodal corridor studies, financial and economic analysis, transportation policy analysis, environmental analysis and others. They handle assignments of a quantitative and qualitative nature; learn to use, understand, appropriately apply new technical tools; and begin to develop interpretive skills. While business development and project management are not typically a part of this role, the Transportation Analyst may be asked to assist with such activities at the discretion of more senior consultants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Project Delivery• Produces and delivers exceptional quality work that is thorough, polished, and reflects well on CS • Provides exceptional value-added service to project managers and/or clients and communicates consistently with internal and external team members • Actively listens and seeks to understand client or project manager needs • Meets chargeability expectations
Position Requirements - Bachelor's degree
- 0-4 years of applicable experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office & Excel
- Experience with ArcGIS and/or other geospatial software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications - Programming interest or experience (e.g. R)
Salary: $80k-$95k
