Translation/Localization Coordinator (New Kensington, PA)

The Translation/Localization Coordinator is responsible for managing the translation and localization of product labeling, instructions for use, packaging, software UI strings, and related regulatory documentation. This role ensures that all translated labeling materials are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time to support product launches and sustaining updates.

Your role:

  • Manage numerous simultaneous translation and localization projects.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between translation and validation vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Submit, manage, and track translation requests and deliverables.
  • Monitor project timelines, schedules, budgets, and scope; flag risks or delays proactively.
  • Submit, manage, and track quotes, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Provide feedback to vendors and teams to foster continuous improvement and partnership.
  • Review translated content for completeness, formatting, and adherence to requirements and quality standards.
  • Maintain documentation and metrics on localization and vendor performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot issues, ensure compliance, and illuminate efficiency gains.

You're the right fit if:

  • No prior experience required with Bachelor's Degree OR minimum 3 years of experience with Associate's Degree in areas such as Translations, Localization, Procurement or equivalent.
  • Your skills include attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem solving and proficiency with MS Excel & Office.
  • You have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Translations, Localization, Procurement, or equivalent.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this .
  • You can cultivate effective relationships with internal/external partners and provide influence over projects and peer groups, demonstrating understanding of vendor management within the medical devices sector.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an office role.

The pay range for this position in New Kensington, PA is $65,000 to $103,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.   

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found .
