JOB SUMMARY

This role will lead all acquisition integrations to make them expedient, efficient, and aligned with the execution of the business model within the manufacturing industry. This role functions as a highly technical and adept leader in project and product integration management, leading a team and cross functional stakeholders to achieve the transition of products from licensors to the IMS locations. This role also must work across departments, lead a team with various disciplines, monitor, execute and control the transition across resources, budget, time, quality, risks and other unforeseen variables.

COMPLEXITY & PROBLEM SOLVING

Translates business segment strategy into functional plans and guides execution. Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires conceptual thinking and an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Problems are not clearly defined and require tactical and strategic direction. Implements policies and selects methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Drives the strategy and success of larger projects which contribute to multiple areas of the organization. This role may also work on complex issues where problems are not clearly defined, and fundamental business principles need to be developed and implemented. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.

SCOPE OF MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISION

Manages activities of two or more disciplines or a department. Oversees experienced level professionals and/or may be responsible for subordinate managers. Drives the team(s) on how to resolve moderately complex matters. Accountable for department budget which may be broad and have far reaching impact on the business segment. Directs the activities of a functional area or multiple integrated departments through lower management. Leads team(s) to develop new methods and solve complex matters. Accountable for actions that impact function or multiple department budgets.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

Leadership & Floor Management
• Lead and supervise experienced engineering and technical professionals during acquisitions
• Act as the primary point of contact for real-time issue resolution within cross-functional units across the organization and with

customers and licensors
• Act as the primary point of contact for the external transition team
• Brief the external transition team and employees, as appropriate, so that they understand the integration process and their
• Escalate issues requiring senior-level input so they are resolved quickly and effectively
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement during the divesture of product lines

Project Management
• Develop the plan (tasks, cost and schedule) for the integration of all licensed /acquired product lines and ensure the completion of the integrations per those plans
• Drive the integration of acquisitions so that all functional department leaders understand their roles and responsibilities during a transition period
• Manage the interdependencies between functions so activities are prioritized and sequenced correctly
• Ensure transition activities are brought to full completion with the business set up for full-rate production/repairs
• Capture lessons learned and make recommendations for future acquisitions

Engineering/Technical
• Support new product line license /acquisition evaluations and due diligence in support of transaction completion and closure
• Assist with the launch of functional integration teams so they understand their charters and are organized for success
• Evaluate the risks associated with integration and mitigate them to the most reasonable extent possible
• Document any handoffs to business line leaders throughout the transition period

Requirements

The right person will demonstrate the following experience and skills:
• Strong project and program management background, including processes, reporting, and project management tools
• Proven experience getting results in complex cross-functional environments, as well as managing projects in multi-cultural,

multi-time zone settings
• Disciplined, process-oriented, and loves the details, while seeing the big picture
• Collaboration-first mindset, an organizational "connector" that easily works across organizational boundaries. Influencing

without authority, and building rapport with senior stakeholders, outside of immediate team
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

MINIMUM EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field plus a minimum of 5 years direct manufacturing

experience in similar roles or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree e.g., MBA and closer to 12 years of industry experience in a manufacturing

environment

Salary Description

160,000-190,000
