bout the role:
The customer is looking for a hands-on manufacturing/process engineer focused on factory layout, material flow, production efficiency, and manufacturing documentation.
5-10 years Manufacturing Engineer / Industrial Engineer experience + heavy manufacturing plant experience + Vismockup/VisJack/AutoCAD + MBOM + material flow/layout + PFMEA + time studies + jig/fixture + production improvement.
- MBOM creation using Vismockup.
- Standard work updates
- Station Layout updates and Optimization
- Material layout and Material flow optimization
- Read and interpret Engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Study time, motion, and methods to establish standard production rate and improve efficiency.
- Experience in using AutoCAD, Vismockup, VisJack
- Potential failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
- Experience in working with stakeholders like Material Logistics, Quality, Production, Maintenance, etc.
- Plant Efficiency Improvements
- Jig & Fixture concept designs
- Implement changes to improve overall performance.
- Look for ergonomic improvements and work with EHS team to design improved processes and / or equipment (examples include adding lift or tilt tables, hoists, and conveyor).
- Need to communicate (verbal, written, & ppt documents) project details clearly and concisely to leaders.
