  • Track and manage the portfolio of agreements in Agiloft, validating submissions.
  • Negotiate contract changes with vendors under guidance of General Counsel.
  • Manage legal review requests for corporate transactions.
  • Maintain a library of pre-approved documents and templates.
  • Provide transactional support for Rush and its affiliates.

Work Type: Full-Time - 40 Hours per week (1.0 FTE)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Pay Range: $72,671 - $118,102 per year

Summary:
In conjunction with the Senior Associate General Counsel -RCMC and members of the Office of Legal Affairs (OLA), this position is responsible for assisting in the management of transactional legal agreements for Rush University System for Health and all subsidiary and affiliate entities. This role reports directly to the Senior Associate General Counsel - RCMC and partners with Sourcing, Corporate Finance and system contract requestors and leaders as needed to ensure oversight and appropriateness of legal contractual arrangements. This individual exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
1. Is proficient in utilizing the Rush contract management system, Agiloft, for all contract processing from initial draft through execution.
2. Reviews and/or drafts various legal contracts and other documents and advises internal clients of potential legal risks.
3. Assists in day to day management of Agiloft contract records.
4. Educates and supports end users who need assistance in following the Agiloft contracting processes.
5. Tracks and manages Agiloft assigned portfolio of agreements, validating user submissions and auditing attachments.
6. If requested negotiates changes to contracts directly with vendor in consultation with the business leaders and under the direction of the Senior Associate General Counsel.
7. Manages incoming requests for the legal review of corporate transactions on behalf of Rush and its affiliated entities via tasks assigned by the Sourcing transactional team.
8. Maintains a library of pre-approved form documents, contract clauses, templates, and historical documents, and adds or revises material, as needed.
9. Performs general corporate transactional support for Rush and its affiliated entities.
10. Other duties and projects as assigned.
