Job Description:The Professional Development Program (PDP) of the University at Albany's Rockefeller College seeks a service-minded individual who is committed to performing high-quality work to fill a Training Program Coordinator position within PDP's Department of Regulatory and Child Care Assistance Training in Albany, NY.
Description of Duties:This position provides leadership, supervision, and ongoing feedback to members of the training team. Coordination of project activities, including liaison with the sponsor, development of curriculum and materials, planning of training, and the oversight of all curricula changes that are required or desired to meet the needs of the sponsor and the training population. Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide daily leadership, direction, supervision, and feedback to members of the project team.
- Develop and maintain training curriculum, desk reference guides, and other educational material that incorporate regulation, policy and programmatic information and provide a contextual rationale for procedures in the field.
- Assure the timely delivery and quality of all educational and technical assistance services in confirmation to project deliverable.
- Serve as liaison with program sponsor.
- Design and coordinate the documentation of all training curricula changes and modifications required to meet the needs of the sponsor and audiences.
- Assist in the design and analysis of needs assessments and evaluations. Make recommendations regarding scheduling, development or revision of curriculum and materials and programmatic changes.
- Complete reports and documentation as required.
- Provide training as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Research Foundation, UAlbany, or SUNY employee.
- Master's degree from a college or university accredited by a USDOE, or an internationally recognized accrediting organization and a minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience OR Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by a USDOE, or an internationally recognized accrediting organization. and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in the development and delivery of training for adult learners.
- Demonstrated ability to produce comprehensive curriculum.
- Experience developing training materials from policy or regulation.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel including the ability to create and format documents, manage data, use formulas, and generate basic reports.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work variable days and work hours and travel throughout NYS, including travel to areas that may not be served by public transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with NYS OCFS Child Care Initiatives/Modalities of Care/Funding/Regulations.
