Position Summary

Support leadership and training development activities by collaborating with various departments to identify skill gaps and training needs. Design, implement, and manage talent development programs such as onboarding, eLearning, professional and technical training, leadership development, competency management, assessments, and team facilitation. Monitor program effectiveness and make improvements to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Foster an environment where employees are engaged, high-performing, and continuously learning and developing, enabling both individual and team growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver hands-on training in equipment operation, mechanical processes, assembly/structural procedures, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Develop and maintain training materials aligned with BOMs, routings, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Create structured, process-based training modules to reinforce standardization, quality, and compliance.
  • Conduct skill assessments and verify technical proficiency for production roles.
  • Collaborate with instructors, manufacturing leadership, engineering, and HR to identify training needs.
  • Maintain a structured training environment with clear learning paths and documented progression.
  • Track training completion, certifications, and skill development using established systems and tools.
  • Evaluate training outcomes and recommend improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Support onboarding of new manufacturing employees, ensuring early competency in core technical skills.
  • Assist with the rollout and training for new tools, equipment, technologies, workflows, and procedures.
  • Identify gaps in process understanding or documentation and work with cross-functional teams to improve clarity and execution.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify, develop, and execute training and engagement projects.
  • Deliver training through both in-house and external resources.
  • Support HR with employee and leadership development activities, including engagement surveys, action planning, and cross-functional development opportunities.
  • Coach and support employees in planning and delivering training programs to groups of various sizes.
  • Review and update training programs to improve the learner experience and maximize knowledge transfer.
  • Coordinate administrative details for training sessions, including materials, space, and participant needs.
  • Support Equipment Training Team in development of curriculum and maintenance of training records
  • Organize and manage training records.
  • Support HR and operations teams with various projects and initiatives.


Qualifications / Requirements
  • 5 to 10 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Industrial Technology, Training, Education, Human Resources, Instructional Design, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • OR Associate degree plus 5 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of adult instructional and learning theory and principles.
  • Change Management Certification (preferred).
  • Prior experience teaching, coaching, or coordinating technical training in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
