Reporting to theSr.Manager,Training and Development, theTraining Leaddrivesthe design, development, and ongoing evolution of engaging, effective training content for Retail Field employees, including Baristas, Shift Leads, and Store Managers. This role owns the creation of blended learningexperiences such as workshops, eLearning, manuals, and reference tools,while ensuring contentremainscurrent, accessible, and aligned with business priorities. Theyalso buildand implement broader training programs that support skill development, technology adoption, leadership growth, and compliance across the field.

What You Will Do:

In this role, you willbe responsible for:

  • Supportingend-to-end curriculum design developmentfor net-new and refreshed programs, including NMT, Origins, and the Franchise Training Package

  • Turningoperational priorities into learning assets, including instructor guides, learner materials, video, eLearning, and assessments.

  • Building andmaintainingstrong cross-functionalpartnershipand SME management across R&D, Retail Field, RFS, Coffee, and HR.

  • Buildingassessment and measurement into every program, including clear definitions of training completion and verification.

  • Establishingand upholdinginstructional design standards across templates, accessibility, brand voice, and learner experience.

  • Adaptingand packagingnew and refreshed training content into a turn-key training program for franchiseusingnew and existing training content.

  • Launchingseasonal training programs to the field (upcomingAugust, November).

Who You Are:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of instructional design, preferably in a multi-site retail, hospitality, or food service environment.

  • Strong command of adult learning principles, blended learning design, and competency-based assessment.

  • Hands-onproficiencywith authoring tools (Articulate Rise/Storyline or equivalent),LMSManagement(Workday Learninga plus), and video/asset production workflows.

  • Comfortable working from ambiguity. Can take a strategic direction and shape it into a structured program without a fully baked brief. Strong project management

  • Demonstrated end-to-end program builds,and comprehensive training suites. Portfolio of completed work a plus

  • Excellentwritten and visualcommunication

  • Strong cross-functional partnership and managementwith SMEs and key stakeholders.

  • Independent prioritization and excellent time management to work on multiple projects at once.

  • Experience integrating learning technologies and emerging AI tools into program design to improve speed, scalability, and learner experience

The target annual base salary range for this position is$90k 6$110k.The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the applicants qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education, certifications or licenses, other legitimate non-discriminatory business factors, and the geographic location of the role. In addition to base pay, individuals in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
