Position Type:Full time / W-2 (FLSA Status: Exempt)

Experience:                                   5 years (related)

Education:                                    Associate degree

Clearance and Security:Active Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, required. Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Citizenship:U.S. Citizenship is required.

Summary: 

This role supports the execution of complex, mission-critical aviation and national airspace initiatives within a large federal environment. The effort focuses on improving the safety, security, efficiency, and operational effectiveness of aviation systems through the delivery of modernized technology, data-driven capabilities, and enhanced program execution.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and utilize training materials for government employees throughout the and education. 
  • Advise government employees on the available training and development opportunities organization. 
  • Schedule training activities for government organizations as well as for individuals. Identify training and development opportunities outside the existing known avenues. 
  • Manage the budget for government employee training and development. 
  • Build and maintain a library of resources for government employee training.

 

Education and Experience

  • Associate degree

  • 5 years of related experience

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must be a US Citizen.

  • This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.

  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Compensation: The estimated starting salary range for this position is $92,000 – $100,000, commensurate with experience.
