PIMCO is seeking an Equity Execution Trader (Analyst) to be based in NYC. Candidate will be responsible for executing equity products in a high volume, fast paced environment within a cohesive, high performing team. S/He will work with traders, portfolio managers, research analysts, and internal support teams on a wide array of investment strategies. Coverage will primarily be Americas/EMEA securities but must have flexibility to accommodate global coverage needs as activity dictates.

Requirements:

• Execute equity and derivative transactions in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Work closely with Portfolio Managers to implement investment views and manage portfolio exposures.
• Monitor market activity, liquidity conditions, corporate events, and news flow relevant to portfolio holdings.
• Analyze execution performance and identify opportunities to improve trading outcomes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, sales traders, and market participants.
• Provide market color and liquidity insights to investment professionals throughout the trading day.
• Support enhancements to trading infrastructure, workflows, and execution processes.
• Coordinate with Operations, Technology, Compliance, and external counterparties as needed to ensure smooth end to end trade execution

 

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of experience in equity trading, sales trading, execution services, market structure, or a related investment role.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities under pressure
• Intrinsic drive to seek excellence and continual improvement.
• Collaborative team player with ability to thrive in a fast-paced investment environment.
• General understanding of financial markets and equity trading processes preferred
• Proficiency with technology, including coding and AI-fluency, a strong plus

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.

Salary Range: $ 145,000.00 - $ 170,000.00
