TPA Core Services Development Manager

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a TPA Core Services Development Manager l at GDIT. Here, you’ll enable the success of one of the most critical federal healthcare missions and lead the development, integration, and modernization of systems supporting the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP).

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As a TPA Core Services Development Manager / Software Developer Principal, the work you’ll do at GDIT will directly support the mission of the World Trade Center Health Program. You will play a crucial role in guiding the development and integration of software solutions that ensure accurate eligibility determination, claims adjudication, provider management, member services, and financial operations.

● Lead the design, development, and delivery of highperforming, secure, and compliant software solutions across TPA core service areas, directly improving mission-critical healthcare operations.
● Collaborate with architects, engineers, business analysts, QA testers, operational SMEs, and system vendors to ensure systems function cohesively, accurately, and reliably.
● Drive technical strategy, system modernization, performance optimization, integration improvements, and issue resolution that support seamless interoperability across the TPA ecosystem.
● Utilize modern programming languages, integration technologies, APIs, EDI frameworks, databases, cloud services, and DevSecOps tools to deliver secure and scalable federal healthcare solutions.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bring your initiative and technical leadership to GDIT. The TPA Core Services Development Manager / Software Developer Principal must have:

Education: Technical training, certification(s), or degree
Experience: 3+ years of related software development, engineering leadership, or technical integration experience
Technical skills: Modern development frameworks; microservices; APIs; EDI processing; cloud environments; CI/CD pipelines; Git; data modeling; secure coding; debugging and performance tuning
Security clearance level: MB(T2)
US citizenship required
Role requirements: Ability to lead technical teams; experience coordinating with crossfunctional groups; familiarity with HIPAA and secure PHI/PII handling; understanding of federal security standards; 010% travel as needed

The likely salary range for this position is $129,625 - $175,375. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
