Job Description:

Intro:

Provides Total Rewards support to internal customers in support of benefit and total health & wellbeing programs, compensation management, employee relocation & expatriate management and retirement programs. The role administers Total Rewards programs, completes analysis of market data and trends, collection and submission of data for market surveys, supports the development of Total Rewards communications, and participates in Total Rewards related projects.

  • Administers Total Rewards programs, communicating with internal customers and partnering with external vendors
  • Participates in Total Rewards related projects, interacting with consultants and internal partners
  • Performs qualitative and quantitative research on Total Rewards related programs to support business and talent challenges
  • Ensures compliance of Total Rewards programs and policies and manages employee data in line with company policies


What You Have :
  • Education/Experience: Degree or equivalent experience desired
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
  • Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner
  • Benefits Programs: Knowledge of employee benefits programs, processes, issues and considerations; ability to design and implement benefits programs

  • Knowledge of compensation structure, and regulations and policies related to compensation; ability to design, implement and evaluate compensation programs, policies and processes within an organization
  • Knowledge of features, policies and processes of retirement programs; ability to implement and manage employee retirement programs and plans
  • Experience conducting job analysis and salary survey activities
  • Experience analyzing corporate benefits plans and market trends
  • Experience working with external benefits and retirement vendors
  • Experience supporting Total Rewards communications and related projects


Summary Pay Range:

$72,360.00 - $108,540.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
