Job Summary:

The Global Tooling Operations Director II leads the enterprise-wide tooling execution system for FieldCore. This role is responsible for optimizing global tooling operations across planning, readiness, logistics, recovery, and asset governance. The position extends beyond traditional logistics leadership to oversee Global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), asset lifecycle economics, Lean Daily Management, and global shared services strategy.

The Director ensures consistent execution across a high-volume global project environment, balancing cost, speed, service, and compliance. This leader is accountable for a significant annual CAPEX budget, the governance of global tooling centers and shared services, and the performance systems required to maintain high on-time execution while supporting enterprise margin, cash flow, and customer outcomes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Design, standardize, and deploy a global Lean Daily Management operating system, including Daily Management Rhythm (DMR), Management Operating Rhythm (MOR), and Site/Service Management Rhythm (SMR), across the end-to-end tooling workflow
  • Establish and lead a tiered performance management architecture with clear escalation logic, standardized KPIs, and automated digital dashboards that enable real-time decision-making
  • Own the North America execution control tower, providing end-to-end operational oversight and serving as the primary decision point for trade-offs among speed, cost, and service levels
  • Lead the global shared services model for tooling centers, centralizing support activities to improve scale, consistency, and efficiency
  • Own annual equipment CAPEX planning and execution, including development of multi-year ROI models for replacement, repair-versus-buy, and retirement decisions based on utilization, condition, and risk
  • Govern global financial policies related to rental rate methodologies, depreciation logic, replenishment rules, and CAPEX versus OPEX treatment
  • Lead the asset lifecycle economics model from acquisition through end-of-life, ensuring tooling investment decisions support margin expansion, cash flow performance, and service readiness
  • Support strategic network design and footprint optimization decisions, including tooling center location, redesign, and capacity planning to improve lead time and service performance
  • Own the end-to-end Tooling S&OP process, integrating demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory positioning into a single decision-making framework
  • Serve as system-of-record owner for the Tooling Master Database, ensuring data integrity, asset classification consistency, and effective downstream dependency management
  • Lead global quality processes for tooling operations, including ISO compliance, audit readiness, certification governance, and operational risk mitigation
  • Provide product ownership for advanced analytics capabilities, including AI-enabled forecasting, semantic tooling catalog models, and predictive readiness logic
  • Own tooling catalog standards and compliance logic, including customs classification and HS mapping requirements that affect global regulatory execution
  • Travel may be required
  • You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization's core values.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in global operations, supply chain, logistics, or related industrial environments
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Lean Daily Management systems in a global environment
  • Strong experience managing large-scale budgets and developing complex financial and ROI models
  • Proven change management capability, including leadership of major structural changes such as facility relocations, network redesign, or global process transformation
  • English proficiency required

Desired Characteristics:
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and operate effectively in a global matrix organization
  • Demonstrated experience leading S&OP execution in a complex operational environment
  • High digital fluency, including experience with automated dashboarding, advanced analytics, AI-enabled tools, and ERP/system-of-record governance
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including understanding of asset depreciation, rental rate methodologies, and P&L impact
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity, drive operational rigor, and translate strategy into scalable execution

Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salary range for this position is $137,600 to $231,200. This is an exempt from overtime position. FieldCore benefits include insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability, and life), retirement savings, health and Wellness reimbursement, and a bonus or incentive program. Eligibility for FieldCore benefits is determined under the terms of the applicable benefits plan.
