Full Job Description
## Role Scope - Design the tooling and fixtures the factory builds with: weld fixtures, assembly jigs, and lifting and handling tools.- Own fixtures from concept through proving: tolerance stack-ups, repeatability studies, and sign-off.- Manage the tooling lifecycle: maintenance, calibration, revisions, and the register that tracks it all.- Design for the operator: fast loading, mistake-proofing, and safe handling of heavy parts. ## What We're Looking For The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would. - You've designed production tooling and fixtures for fabrication or assembly, and they're still in use.- You do stack-ups properly and your fixtures hold tolerance at rate.- You've proven fixtures with capability studies, not eyeballs.- You design mistake-proofing in rather than inspecting errors out.- You revise fast when the product changes. Bonus: Weld fixture design. GD&T depth. SolidWorks or Inventor. Lifting device design standards. We are committed to pay equity and transparency.
