About the role:

As the Wind Services Tooling, PPE, Facilities & Warehouse Leader, you will oversee all aspects of tooling, personal protective equipment (PPE), facilities, and warehouse operations within the wind services division. You will manage, maintain, and optimize specialized tools, equipment, PPE, and facilities to ensure they properly support safe and efficient wind turbine installation, maintenance, and repair. You will also develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency, compliance, and reliability across all areas.

You will report to the Commercial Operations Manager and will be located in Oklahoma City, OK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of all tooling assets, including specialized equipment and calibration tools.
  • Implement inventory control systems to track tool usage, location, and condition.
  • Forecast tooling needs based on project schedules and service requirements.
  • Oversee inventory and distribution of PPE for field teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Monitor PPE condition and replace items as needed to maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop PPE kits for specific tasks or environments to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Coordinate the shipment of tools, equipment, and PPE to project sites globally.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company standards.
  • Optimize shipping processes to reduce costs and improve delivery timelines.
  • Develop and manage a calibration schedule for all precision tools and equipment.
  • Ensure tools meet OEM specifications and industry standards for accuracy and safety.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs to extend tool life and minimize downtime.
  • Design and assemble standardized tooling kits tailored for specific service tasks or turbine models.
  • Collaborate with field teams to identify common tooling needs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Continuously refine kit contents based on feedback and evolving service requirements.
  • Ensure all tooling and PPE operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain documentation for audits and certifications related to tooling, PPE, and calibration.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline tooling and PPE operations and reduce costs.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory, calibration status, PPE compliance, and logistics performance.
  • Implement digital solutions for real-time tracking and reporting.
  • Lead and develop a team of tooling and PPE specialists and coordinators.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, service providers, and logistics partners.
  • Manage facility maintenance, repairs, and vendor contracts to ensure operational readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations for the facilities.
  • Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of tools, PPE, and equipment.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in tooling and/or PPE management, preferably in wind energy or heavy industrial sectors.
    • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of calibration standards, inventory systems, PPE compliance, and logistics processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and tooling/PPE management software.


We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200.00 to $106,500.00 per year.
