About the role:

As the Safety & Quality Manager for our Renewables division, you will be responsible for driving and maintaining the safety and quality rigor across BHI Energy's Renewables team. You will support field operations, reinforces a strong safety culture, and ensures compliance with internal standards and industry regulations.

You will report to the OMS Renewables Executive and will be based out of our Oklahoma City, OK location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead safety and quality programs across the Renewables group, ensuring alignment with BHI Energy expectations.
  • Strengthen and promote a positive safety culture, enhancing communication and reporting practices.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee safety and quality programs, procedures, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
  • Manage employee training, certifications, compliance tracking, and readiness for field activities.
  • Review, develop, update, and approve operating procedures, ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment.
  • Engage directly with field teams, offering guidance, support, and corrective action leadership.
  • Partner with leadership to monitor safety metrics, analyze trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and follow-through on mitigation plans.
  • Ensure consistent documentation, communication, and reporting across operational teams.
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance reviews.
  • Own ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 adherence and compliance
  • Travel as needed to support safety and quality initiatives in our fleet.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in safety leadership, quality assurance, and field operational support, preferably in wind energy, renewables, or industrial field services.
    • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Experience developing training content, procedural documentation, and safety/quality programs.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks common to renewable-energy field operations.


We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $112,400.00 to $140,500.00 per year.
