Role Description

Form Energy is hiring a Superintendent to drive custom manufacturing equipment installations. This role reports to our Senior Manager of Tool Installation. As part of our Form Factory 1 team, you will contribute to bringing our first factory manufacturing lines into production in partnership with Engineering, Operations and Construction teams. What you'll do:
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, EHS and key operational stakeholders to create detailed equipment installation and commissioning plans, ensuring alignment with construction timelines and milestones
  • Lead rigging, mechanical, electrical and controls teams in the execution of manufacturing equipment installation from utility rough in locations to equipment landing and assembly
  • Ensure the highest quality standards are maintained during equipment installation and commissioning, resolving any issues or deficiencies promptly
  • Assist in the development of and work within established budgets
  • Organize, validate and document installation and preventative maintenance procedures in EAM and/or CMMS software


What you'll bring:
  • 2+ years of experience in hands-on maintenance supervision/management with emphasis on custom manufacturing equipment installation
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a hands-on technical maintenance or fabrication role preferred.
  • Proven ability to work within cross functional teams and drive outcomes to achieve aggressive timelines
  • Demonstrated experience in contractor management, technical trades and custom manufacturing equipment installations
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
  • Ability to move objects up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree or significant experience in related field

This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV-an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA. This 550,000-square-foot facility is our hub for high-volume battery production and a leader in the new era of American energy manufacturing. Relocation assistance is available.
